Have small children? Looking for ways to be connected to other Jewish families in San Antonio? Temple Beth-El has many ways for you to be part of our Reform Jewish Congregation.

 

 

Welcome Shabbat with celebrations geared towards your young family.

 

A family friendly service, featuring Religious School classes and led by Rabbi Yergin, Leah Apothaker, and Joel Swedlove where we welcome Shabbat with spirited song and prayer. This service is followed by a family-style dinner at 7:00 pm in the Block Conference Center with table blessings and activities for children.

These services are followed by an optional community dinner at 7:00 pm in the Block Conference Center with table blessings and an activity table for the kids. Dinner is $5.00 per child and $7.00 per adult.
Reservations can be made ONLINE or by calling or emailing Joel Swedlove at 733-9135 ext. 151. Please let us know if you will be joining us for dinner. Your reservation helps insure there will be food for all who are joining us.

Boker Tov Café,

Sundays, 8:30-9:15 am (when Religious School is in session)

Grab a bagel and cream cheese, some coffee, hot chocolate or juice and support our youth programming. The Boker Tov Café is run by our Youth Committee.

 

Sunday Funday! Barshop Auditorium

Sundays, 9:30 am–12:00 pm (when Religious School is in session)

Grab a cup of coffee or tea and get to know other TBE members while your little ones play together.

 

Sunday School T’filah, 9:30 am

Join your little ones in the Oppenheimer Chapel or share in worship with the older kids in the Wulfe Sanctuary. An inspiring and spirited opportunity to begin your day.

 

For the Kiddos…

Preschool Religious School at Temple Beth-El, 3s and 4s

Sundays, 9:30-11:00 am

Our weekly Religious School Class for 3s & 4s is a warm, nurturing play based environment where the children can explore the Jewish holidays, basic Jewish concepts and spend time with their Temple friends. This is a drop off class.

Babysitting

Child care is provided on Sunday mornings so that families with older children can participate in various family programs. 

 

Just for Adults...

Adult Learning, Sundays 9:30-11:00 am

Our Jewish Education Consultant, Rachel Stern will offer a monthly adult learning session while your kiddos are in class.
