Following Shabbat Services at 6:30 pm, please join us for a Shabbat Sukkot Potluck with the Raindrop Turkish House Community.
RSVP online today! We will supply the entrée, you bring a vegetarian side dish as we come together to celebrate.

Shabbat Sukkot Lunch Chavurah

We will enjoy a delicious Sukkot meal together, we will hear briefly about the Hebrew Free Loan Association, and then we will learn more about Sukkot from Rabbi Marina Yergin. Those 65 and older are free; those under 65 are only $5. RSVP  to [email protected] or 210-7339135, ext. 120 for the lunch and program. Jazz in the J.Y. Golden Sukkah

Join us under the stars for Havdalah, live jazz, cool breezes, delectable refreshments, and good friends!
Free of charge, thanks to the generosity of Claire Golden, who has dedicated this event in memory of her beloved husband, J.Y. Golden. Featuring live jazz from the Maverick Jazz Quartet organized by Temple member Dan Klein and including notable San Antonio musicians, Andrew Bergman, Larry Natwick and Katchie Cartwright. Wine and heavy hors d’ouevres will be served.

  • Rite of Three Generations: Eleanor “Bitsy” Komet, Leslie Komet Ausburn, Adam Ausburn, and Peyton Ausburn.
  • The names of babies born in the last year will be read.
  • Complete unrolling and re-rolling of the Torah in
  • Temple aisles, with interactive Torah readings.
  • Hakafot (Parade of the Torah Scrolls).
  • Oneg in the Barshop Auditorium.
